DIGITALS -
Digitals may not be included in a model’s printed portfolio, but they remain one of the most essential assets in a model’s professional materials. They should be updated consistently, especially following any notable changes in appearance such as a haircut, changes in measurements, or new tattoos.

While a portfolio is designed to showcase range, experience, and versatility, digitals offer something equally important: a clean, honest representation of a model’s natural look. Free from professional styling, studio lighting, and retouching, digitals allow agencies and clients to see exactly how a model presents in their most authentic form.

Also referred to as snaps or polaroids, digitals are a standard requirement for castings, bookings, and agency submissions. They are frequently requested when a model is being considered for representation or placement opportunities, including work abroad.

As a general standard, digitals should be refreshed every 3–6 months, and updated immediatelyfollowing any changes to appearance or measurements. Maintaining current digitals ensuresaccurate representation and allows agencies to market models with clarity, confidence, andprofessionalism.
